Hi! I’m a dedicated GAMSAT Section II tutor and a current Pharmacy student at the University of Queensland (UQ). With a Section II score of 82 (99th percentile) and an overall GAMSAT score of 72 (March 2025), I’m well equipped to help you master the essay section through effective strategies, personalized feedback, and targeted support. I specialise in tutoring GAMSAT Section II, focusing on helping students craft compelling, well-structured essays through proven strategies in idea generation, critical thinking, and clear written expression. My teaching is based on the same methods that helped me achieve an overall GAMSAT score of 72 in March 2025, up from 69 in March 2024, including a Section II score of 82 (99th percentile).
A key part of my tutoring approach is teaching a distinctive essay style that prioritises strategic and effective planning, enabling you to organise your ideas clearly before writing. I guide you to develop compelling, well-supported arguments that engage the reader and demonstrate critical thinking. Emphasis is also placed on creating smooth cohesion between paragraphs and ideas, ensuring your essay flows logically and persuasively. I teach how to incorporate meaningful reflection and personal insight to deepen your response and stand out to examiners. This comprehensive method equips you to produce essays that are not only structurally sound but also insightful and memorable.
I have previous tutoring experience, where I helped peers strengthen their writing skills and academic performance, which has informed my patient and supportive teaching style.
Lessons typically run for 1 to 2 hours, and cover both Task A and Task B. Sessions include timed practice, tailored advice, and detailed feedback to help you improve quickly and confidently.
I work with both first-time and experienced GAMSAT sitters, including those from science backgrounds who may be less comfortable with written communication. My lessons are tailored to your level, goals, and timeline — whether you’re aiming to lift your Section II score or turn it into a real strength.
