About Sonia

Being originally from Lima, Peru is an advantage, since I am capable to teach Spanish from Spain and from South America. And having 15 years professional experience in my country, plus 10 years teaching experience in US, make me a versatile Spanish teacher.
My bachelor’s degree in Library & Information Science helps me to be a great resourceful teacher. And having worked on a tv family program helps me bring communication skills to my students.

About the lesson

The first thing I do, is to understand the needs and expectations of my students. That way, I can prepare a taylor-made lesson plan for them. Also, I like to include 3 important approaches: grammar, pronunciation and lots of practice.
