About Abby
Even though I am a junior in high school I have been in the exact same shoes that you have been in. It is also nice because it wasn’t too long ago that I was learning the same subject that you are. I’ve always been pretty good at math and science, that has always been the way my brain works. I also work with Sounders while at school, such as I’m a tutor during my lunch period for Spanish. I also help out kids with disabilities and special needs through a program called CG buddies and CG stands for Cary Grove which is the school I attend. I also volunteer as a youth group leader for my church and educate kids on the word of the Lord. I may not be a teacher or have a degree yet however I do have many years of experience working with other kids and students and figuring out how their brain learns and what works best for them. Every student has their own challenges and it’s not their fault if something doesn’t click, it just means they need to take a different approach or spend some more time on it.

I am very flexible with after school hours. I am an online only tutor. I have a very fresh mind. Since I’m in high school, I have been applying each skill 5 days a week and continue to use it even in Calculus and Physics. I’m very patient and open-minded so if a certain way does not work for you I’m willing to listen and come up with a way that engages your brain and makes it click. I feel it’s very important to try out new strategies when it comes to learning something new, especially when something doesn’t make sense the first time.
