Hiya! My name is Alicia and I’m a GCSE student who excels in high level English literature and language. I am more than capable to teach students up to Year 10 and these lessons will be online.

About Alicia
I’m a 15 year old student with a bright mind and a captivating imagination. I enjoy the thrill of students tapping into their inner thoughts and creating worlds that people only fantasise about. I would like to become a tutor to help students gain the confidence to get the grades they deserve, not the ones they’re comfortable with. I’m a very nurturing person as I believe children are like plants. Nutrition for the mind and positive energy will help them blossom but pressure and negative energy will make them wilt. I want to be the English teacher that releases them of that constant pressure and helps them actually enjoy English instead of enforcing it. I am willing to create resources that are specific to certain students to help them ascertain their confidence as a writer.

I’ve always had a knack for English literature and language. Since I was young I was always the type to captivate my audience (mainly my family) with my distinguished linguistic skills. It’s been one of my very many hobbies since, but holds a special place in my heart aside from the rest.
I wish to help students gain this insight into the delicacy of English literature and language by making my lessons accessible for any age and making them as immersive as possible so maybe you’ll think about staying awake in your English lessons instead of snoring away in the back!
I tend create plenty of resources that are suitable to gain notoriety within my students and engage them as much as possible so they too can be a top level student.
My predicted target grade for the end of year 10 is an 8 and I’m already on an upwards pathway beyond that. I would like to help these young minds thrive and get those top grades that they know they can achieve.
My lessons are for any student up to year 10 so don’t be afraid to reach out! I do a plethora of activities which help the student tap into their inner writer.
These activities include:
-analysis
-creative writing
-vocabulary
-writers techniques
- travel writing
-poetry
-Shakespearean English literature (Macbeth, Romeo and Juliet etc.)
-poetry linked by the theme of either Love and Relationships or Power and Conflict
And many more!
I’m more than happy to answer questions and have the patience to help students who may need that extra boost!
These lessons will be for 1hr and a 1hr free lesson will be provided.
