About Keyla
I have 7 years of experience teaching Spanish to students of all ages, and I am currently studying a master's in Romance Languages. I love adjusting my students’ lessons and materials to their needs. That's why I make sure from the very first time we meet, we get to determine the goals you want to achieve and then set lesson plans and activities that are customized for you. I have also taught English in the past, which allows me to help you link the ideas of how certain structures of the language differ from others.

My classes are very dynamic and oriented to your specific goals in the target language. I personally think learning a second language should be a fun experience, so I incorporate all kinds of resources that help you learn and practice without it becoming a boring lesson. In class, we will focus on how to use the language in action, and we will also explore aspects of the different Hispanic cultures, music, gastronomy, landscapes, etc. Additionally, if you’d like to focus on vocabulary related to your profession or specific skills (listening, speaking, writing, reading) I will make certain your classes are customized for you to reach your goals!
