About Abel
I bring more than 15 years of experience in fitness, exercise, personal training, and healthy lifestyle support, combined with a lifetime of personal experience managing Type 1 diabetes. I have lived with diabetes since childhood, so I understand firsthand the challenges of balancing exercise, nutrition, blood sugar management, motivation, and everyday life. I also have lived experience with bipolar disorder, which has strengthened my understanding of mental health, patience, consistency, self-discipline, and overcoming difficult periods. These experiences allow me to connect with people without judgment and meet them where they are. My approach is supportive, practical, patient, and encouraging. I enjoy helping others build confidence, establish healthier habits, understand fitness, and work toward realistic goals one step at a time. My guidance is based on fitness experience and personal lived experience and is not a replacement for medical or mental-health care.
