About Katerina
I’m an honors high school student looking forward to helping kids improve upon their English skills over the summer. I enjoy being outside, walking my dogs, and reading. Some of my favorite outdoor activities include swimming, playing tennis, and going for walks. Engaging with and helping children learn will not only help them, but also helps me improve upon life skills that I will need to use in the near future!

I like to use hands-on learning activities to aid in English improvement. I will help with phonics, spelling, and basic reading skills for elementary children who might need to improve upon these areas. I enjoy working with children as well as helping them learn, which will ultimately push them forward in our busy world. My target age range is K-3rd grade. A typical lesson plan can be designed to fit your child’s needs, but will include some sort of physical writing skills, as well as speech improvements. I find that kids enjoy a structured but flexible environment, with various activities to keep them engaged. I am available Monday through Thursdays from 12-5 pm. I prefer to meet and do lessons in a public place like a park etc, but am open to various locations.
