I’m a high school senior, I’ve been taking private horn lessons for 7 years and I’ve been teaching private lessons for 2 years. I’ve participated in various competitive auditions, orchestras, and summer programs and I plan to major in music in college.

My teaching method is mostly based on what I’ve learned from my private teacher who has studied with some of the best horn players in the world, along with the other horn players I’ve worked with from around the country. It’s an approach that focuses on learning how to be one’s own teacher, so that the student learns to identify issues and work on them effectively while practicing.
