Hi there, please check out my works at sylviacomics.com or in the video below. I'm an MFA graduate, graphic novel artist, illustrator, and former graphic designer. Class content: Human anatomy, sketching, narrative illustration Online Class Mode: For figure/portrait drawing, I use Procreate on iPad to demo + screen-sharing function via Skype/Zoom. Demonstration and in-class exercise session will be the main part of the class. After you finish your sketch (both traditional or digital will be fine), you can send me the picture of it and we will discuss and troubleshoot. No matter what level you are, as long as you have a passion for drawing, please contact me. I am looking forward to sharing my art experience with you.

Perfect! Sylvia was/is the perfect choice for my 12 yr old son. She has an awesome art portfolio which inspires his creativity. She's also a very calm teacher who understands his processing and takes time to evaluate and trouble shoot - he loves her "soothing voice". I've watched him work with her and felt very content at his joy to be in the moment - no outside noise - just an excellent, well prepared, patient teacher.

Sylvia helped me gaining a lot confidence in figure drawing in the past year. Whenever I got confused and frustrated in drawing as an adult drawing amateur, she could always figure out how to troubleshoot and helped me to find a way to grow faster (especially in the aspect of mindset). Learning with Sylvia is indeed an enjoyable journey towards art.
Sylvia was my teacher when i studied in the United States. She mainly teaches illustration and figure drawing. She is a very patient person and makes different teaching contents for different students. She made my progress pretty fast. So i highly recommend her to other students.
