About Bavleen
I've given professional tuition for over 2 years and can adapt my teaching method for each individual student. My previous student achieved all 9's in triple science GCSE after being initially predicted 5's and also prepared them for applying to a more competitive grammar school which they achieved.
I am a current undergraduate student at Imperial College London studying Physics Msci that achieved 3 A*'s at A level in Physics, Mathematics and Chemistry along with eight 9's and two 8's in the new GCSEs. Particularly for STEM subjects and English I can significantly help other KS4 or below students to achieve the grades as I have from understanding the content to using the personal revision tactics I have developed that worked for me. I create lesson plans, exam worksheets, and personally tailored sessions depending on each student in my own time to ensure the best possible outcome
As the Head girl at Townley Grammar School from 2019-20 as well as performing as an academic mentor and STEM ambassador within my student body, I have significant experience with tutoring and guiding younger years, and a passion for teaching in a way that will not only get you the grades but also a deeper understanding of what the subjects mean. Outside of formal tuition, I regularly offered students from Years 9-11 afterschool help on STEM, History and Geography studies.
I am highly passionate about Physics and Mathematics in particular and have been pursuing a future in it since I was a young girl. Having a tutor that truly loves their subject will positively impact students as an enthusiastic teacher will bleed into the study material and give a motivation to learn above and beyond the curriculum, as well as above all keep studying fun.

As a student myself I can easily recognize and help with mistakes and misunderstandings as well as teach the subject content in a method that is digestible and relatable. With first-hand experience of the new GCSEs, I can help students significantly and will happily adapt my lesson structure according to personal student learning preferences. From my own academic achievements I consistently incorporate my tips and tricks to get into the top band.
Lessons can be structured in accordance with how students learn best, whether that means it will be more open and student-led or more guided with specific lesson plans. I believe in working smart not just hard and have a deep passion for my subject. As I am studying at degree level I will often make small connections to the bigger picture to help students understand the content more. STEM should not be taught like a robot.
