About Alesandra

As a student myself, I have compassion and understanding for other students who struggle with their subjects, especially when they have big ambitions they seek to achieve.

I have spent my time during my own GCSEs and A-levels helping my peers and giving resources. For example. I helped a friend achieve a grade 3-7 in 6 months in her French GCSE.

In school, I have constantly involved myself in subject mentoring, specifically French, helping students with core skills, speaking, reading, listening, grammar.

I am able to apply my skills with teaching French to other subjects.

As someone who wants to later pursue a career in teaching, I aim to use tutoring opportunities to strengthen my skills and make an impact early on.

Are you looking for one-to-one tuition that is completely personalised? Don't hesitate to contact me. I have a strong motivation for teaching and learning, and being able to pass on all my knowledge and experience, always adapted to your needs. I always work with the student so I welcome feedback to help make lessons more useful and personalised. I am constantly making resources for students and directing to other useful ones. My lessons may be intense at times, but the depth and focus is a priority. I have previously helped GCSE students, for example, I helped a student achieve a grade 3-7 in GCSE French in 6 months! I have taught all levels of French up to A-Level. My lessons always have the aim to be welcoming and useful, which I try to do using my bubbly yet driven personality.

I have obtained A* - English Literature, French, History and A - Classical Civilisation in my A-levels and Grade 9 -Combined Science, English Literature, English Language, French, History, Religious Studies, Drama and Grade 8 - Mathematics in my GCSEs

I teach using personalised PowerPoint Presentations that I annotate throughout the lessons, I constantly assess the student's weaknesses and strengths to inform my lesson planning, I set homework for every session and sometimes create mini-tests to test progress.

I begin my lessons discussing homework, outlining the agenda of the lesson and then giving information and creating mini-activities.

In every lesson I try to practise a wide range of skills and recommend resources.
