Sofia was my Spanish tutor during college. I had only previously studied Spanish through school and using virtual apps. But when I started working with Sofia, my Spanish abilities increased exponentially. She taught me how to take what I had learned from books and apply it to the real world. She was patient and kind in her teaching while also pushing me out of my comfort zone. While we only worked together for a few months, by the end of our tutoring, I had become a much more comfortable Spanish speaker. I would highly encourage anyone to work with Sofia, especially students who have studied some Spanish but do not feel overly confident in their abilities.
