About Juan Diego
I am Juan Diego Mejía, Illustrator, artist and animator from the city of Bogotá. I have published my illustration and comic work for more than 10 years with different media and in different languages. I was chosen in the Colombian comic anthology entitled "Ñ comme vignettes" by the French publisher L'Egouttoir.
I am interested in discovering young talents with new perspectives and a lot of interest in the world of graphic storytelling and sharing my knowledge to expand their possibilities.

My classes are focused on 2 parts, the technical and the theoretical. The Technique seeks to develop the skills of drawing, color, materials and composition. The Theory seeks to develop the way of narrating a story and knowledge around the world of comics. This course is not focused only on a realistic drawing style, but also seeks to enhance and exploit the student's drawing and interest in the best way from the perspective of originality.
