About Tanya
I am an actor, designer and dramaturg with a passion for Indian languages - old and new. With a Bachelor of Design from NIFT, and a Master of Art from the Royal Conservatory of Wales- I am truly enthusiastic about more Indians (and non-Indians) learning the nuances of Hindi so that they can feel closer to home. Or in some cases, learn a new culture! I like to pace my classes as per the students’ capacity to learn and will be giving fun assignments and homework every now and then to further strengthen your grasp of the language!

Hindi can be grammatically different from most Latin languages because of its roots in Sanskrit and chhand. So I go as per the pace of every individual student, to make sure the understanding of structure, diction and grammar is solid. We learn not only through Hindi literature and poetry, but also through music, cinema and plays to make learning immersive and fun!
