About Rushali

Hi there! My name is Rushali, and I am an experienced keyboard player, classical singer, and dedicated music coach with 5 years of teaching experience.

I teach staff music for exams (Trinity, ABRSM, RCM, etc) for beginners as well as freestyle, just to have some fun with that instrument of yours.

Unlike hyper-strict classical teachers who rely on boring drills, my teaching philosophy centers on the joy of music and high student engagement. Because I come from a non-traditional background, I don't use intimidating conservatory jargon. I know exactly what it feels like to learn from scratch, making my classes highly intuitive, patient, and stress-free.I specialize in working with absolute beginners, young children, and casual adult hobbyists who want to experience the piano without the tears. Whether your goal is to pass global certifications comfortably or simply learn to play beautiful modern melodies, I build a custom, welcoming environment for every student. Global and NRI students are very welcome!

About the lesson

Hi everyone! I host highly structured, energetic, 60-minute online lessons tailored entirely for beginners. To protect my students from the standard mental fatigue, I run my classes like an interactive journey:

(Ps. - the structure is for students learning for exams; for freestyling and to learn as a hobby, classes are customised accordingly)

∆ 00–05 Mins: The Arcade Warm-up:- We start every single lesson by spinning a digital game wheel to play rapid-fire agility games to train various aspects in a fun way

∆ 05–15 Mins: Creative Improv & Chords theory:- We explore emotional storytelling and chord textures (like Black Key Space Jams or Question & Answer Dialogues) so students actually understand the language of music.

∆ 15–20 Mins: Sight-Reading Puzzles:- An essential exam and sheet reading tool, we practice it practically every class to make reading music a piece of cake.

∆ 20–40 Mins: Core Pieces & Trinity Syllabus:- We tackle your main songs or Trinity Initial Grade sheets using my multi-layer Deconstruction Method.

∆ 40–50 Mins: Speed & Finger Independence:- Focused mechanical training based on tested methods (Hanon, Alfred, Czerny, etc) , scales and other exercises.

∆ 50–60 Mins: The 2-Minute Concert Finish:- The student takes total control of the stage! They perform a 2-minute blend of their pieces, modern pop/Bollywood hooks, or pure improvisation, ending the class on a triumphant high note.

• Staff music reading foundations, speed, and absolute rhythm control.
• Core hand postures, independent finger articulation, and muscle endurance.
• Playing, understanding and composing music deeply
