About Franco
I am an author and educator who has combined 25 years in education with 30 years as a professional writer to offer private tutoring/mentoring for writers. I am a playwright and poet whose works have been translated into 13 languages and produced or published worldwide. My long career in theater has allowed me to work with and be mentored by such luminaries as Edward Albee, Olympia Dukakis, Bruce Smith, Gregory Abels, Caitriona McLaughlin, Lidia Vitale and many more. I have taught Master Classes in 20th Century American Drama in conservatories and schools in NY, LA, London, Prague, Rome, and Dublin.

Franco D’Alessandro is a playwright and poet whose works have been translated into 13 languages and produced or published worldwide. Most recently he wrote the screenplay adaptation of his internationally acclaimed play "Roman Nights", which is currently in pre-production.
Mentoring with Franco revolves around weekly meetings/coaching sessions, intense discussions about structure, plot, character etc, as well as editorial conferences.
