About Micaella
I am a graduate from Friends Seminary High School. I am going to be a Mechanical Engineering major at University of Michigan. I have completed all the accelerated math and science courses at my school with a final grade of at least A-. I have taken advanced courses at my school in Physics and Calculus 1. Additionally, I have taken various summer engineering programs at through Sarah Lawrence College and Columbia University. I have taken Programming (Python) and Physics 2 courses at BU (for college credit).

I like to touch base before we meet so that I can review the topics the student wants to go over as well as stay up to date on any important test dates. Additionally, if a curriculum is available I would appreciate it being sent to me, though it is definitely not necessary. During lessons, when addressing any new concepts I start off with the conceptual understanding, then move into the mathematical solving. I also help curate study sheets and flashcard sets for tests and quizzes. I can provide updates on what is covered in a session and the student's progression to parents. I am available for in-person tutoring until June 10th, and for online tutoring throughout the rest of the school year until the middle of August (times may be limited from June 10-July 23rd).
