About Vanessa
Growing up, my family did foster care and I quickly realized I had a passion for helping and teaching people of ALL ages. I want to help brighten someone's life and make it easier. I have an extensive background in tutoring pre-K- 8, ESL, English and speech, and nannying.
I have 4 older sisters and a younger brother, several nieces and nephews, and holidays are always a packed, noisy but fun house full. Can life be chaotic sometimes? I'll be the calm to the storm. Life's a lot simpler and happier when there's someone to help. I am very passionate about living life to our fullest, best potential. Flexibility is something I bring.

My belief is that every child learns different. When a student doesn’t understand something it’s often because there’s a misunderstood word, therefore a learning block. So we go back to figure out what isn’t understood. Relearn it and continue on with clarity.
I use real life examples, lesson plans, flash cards, phonics, and let the individual learn at their best pace and method, which is never the same from one student to the next.
