My approach to tutoring is supportive, structured, and tailored to each learner’s needs. I aim to create a relaxed environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and developing their skills at their own pace. Lessons are typically one hour long and focus on building confidence in grammar, writing, reading, and oral Irish.
I hold both a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Irish with first-class honours and currently work as an Irish tutor at the University of Galway. With this background, I bring both strong subject knowledge and practical teaching experience.
I cater to learners of all ages and levels, from complete beginners to advanced speakers. My lessons are particularly suited to secondary school students preparing for the Junior Certificate and Leaving Certificate, but I also welcome adult learners and those with a personal interest in improving their Irish.
