About Anna
Hello! My name is Anna and I am Italian.
Passionate about teaching and languages, I've been teaching Italian for three years now.
I studied Linguistics at the Sorbonne and Anthropology at the University of Montreal. I also have a CEDILS certificate from the University of Venice.
During these years I had the opportunity to study abroad (France/Canada) and to travel.
I have taught in an academic environment at the University of Montreal, but also with my students at home. I adapt myself to each context and to all levels.
I love to transmit my knowledge and I look forward to sharing it with you!

I always try to make my lessons interesting and enjoyable.
I think that grammar and basic knowledge are important to start with, but I also place a lot of importance on communication and the pleasure of learning too.
In my courses there is always a place dedicated to Italian culture, because this is what makes the language alive (and because I am very passionate about cinema, literature and art!).
I use, therefore, a mixed method to enhance both the oral and written aspects, and I always adapt to the level and rhythm of the student. I am a great believer in the effectiveness of language games: students have fun and learn without even realizing it!
