About Jonathan
I hold a BA and an MM in music and currently teach applied music and music appreciation at two universities. I have taught piano over 20 years and now also teach aspiring studio piano teachers. I am currently writing a book on creativity and music.

I have over 20 years of teaching experience and now am even teaching new piano teachers how to teach piano. Using the practice methods I have developed, you will find learning the piano easier, faster, and more enjoyable.
Learning any instrument takes work, and that requires the right kind of motivation. I specialize in helping students find that motivation.
I also specialize in teaching creativity as well. I have developed techniques for strengthening your capacity for imagination which is the key to expressive playing.
