About Jonathan
Experienced Professional Saxophonist/Teacher (BA Music Performance - Southampton University): I have played for 14 years, professionally for six and have taught many students of all ages. I have performed with jazz stars such as Soweto Kinch, Rocky Winslow (California), supported Grammy award winning artist David Murray and recorded my debut jazz album with my quartet, Arcades of London (see link to YouTube video). I have also recorded saxophone on many pop/hip-hop tracks, composing hooks and counter melodies during the session.

I am very patient and love to help people advance with their instrument and improve their musical understanding. I am currently working as a professional musician in London and offer tuition to all levels, on all saxophones (tenor/alto/soprano). Topics that I cover are: grades (Trinity/Associated Board), jazz/pop improvisation, technique, learning songs by ear or with music, developing your style and sound. I can teach at my house in Twickenham or can travel to you by car (petrol cost added to hourly rate).
