I have never had a regular teaching job with 5 classes of 30 kids and the summers off. All of my teaching jobs have been in non-traditional school situations with students who do not learn in the traditional ways. So, starting from there, I have had to develop alternative methods of instruction. Basically, if the student didn't learn the subject matter the way I taught it, it's not the students who have failed. It's me. I need to teach it the way they learn it.
