About Lisa
Hi, I’m Lisa, I’m 24 and I’ve recently graduated from King’s College London, where I studied European Studies with Spanish. I’ve also spent time living and working in Spain and currently work part-time as a nanny.
I’m a big reader and enjoy writing, music and going for long walks. I’m naturally quite curious and love learning about different places, cultures and people. I’m also very sociable and enjoy meeting new people and hearing about their interests.
I’ve always enjoyed my time at school and university, particularly anything involving reading, writing and languages, which is what led me to tutoring.

My lessons are tailored to each student, depending on their current level and what they would like to improve. We can focus on whichever areas they need the most support with, including speaking, pronunciation, grammar, vocabulary, reading, writing and listening.
For GCSE and A Level students, lessons can also be focused around the specific requirements of their course, including exam preparation, oral practice, essay writing and working through past papers.
I like to keep lessons varied, combining conversation and practical activities with more focused work on grammar and vocabulary. I’m also happy to work alongside a student’s schoolwork, helping them understand topics they have found difficult or prepare for upcoming tests and exams.
Lessons can be arranged online or in person and are available for 1–4 hours, depending on the student’s needs and preferences.
