About Amy
Struggling with your GCSE's, A Levels or with University/Medical School applications? I can help you! I found in school I would study for hours on end but still not get the results I wanted. When exams would come around I found myself overwhelmed by all the content that I had to learn and felt like it just would not go in. It took me years to find the learning style that suited me best and eventually it clicked. I became great at simplifying information and concentrating on high yield facts and terms that got me the grades I wanted. I was so proud to have achieved 11A*'s at GCSE and 3 A*'s at A level (Biology, Chemistry, Mathematics). I want to help you to work less but work smarter and achieve the grades you deserve! When it came to applying to Medical school, it seemed incredibly overwhelming. I researched for hours on where to go, what experience I needed, what to write in my personal statement, the UKCAT & BMAT and finally the interviews. I learnt so much through experience and research that I wish someone had told me before! If you need some expert tips then I can help you! If you choose me as your tutor I will be : - Flexible to your learning style and not afraid to adapt to your needs - Enthusiastic and motivational to help you achieve your potential - Open and empathetic to understand what you need - Respectful and patient, I know firsthand how hard it can be to grasp certain subjects I will be reliable and push you to excel ! Amy is a fantastic tutor. I needed help studying for a biology exam, and there were some subjects that I could just not get my head around.
Fortunately, Amy offered to help me revise the areas that I was struggling to understand. She has a really good attitude and explains things very well. I have a tendency to give up if I don’t understand something, but Amy was always patient and persevered.
I would highly recommend Amy because she adapts the way she teaches to best suit me.View more recommendations
