About Dr Anamika
I am Anamika Rathi and I am an experienced BIOLOGY and SCIENCE educator. I am M.Sc in Botany with B.Ed., Ph.D., SET(Life Sciences). I teach std. 6-8 Science and 9-12 Biology in Pune. I have worked as a research fellow at IARI New Delhi and as a teacher at Army Schools. I possess 10 years experience in teaching and research. Teaching is my passion and I see to it that the concepts of my students become clear and they perform better in exams and future competitions. I try to prepare my students for life!

I stress upon conceptual learning. This is done with the help of examples, audio/visuals, demonstrations and discussions. Students are encouraged to think and enquire rather than simply follow instructions. Rote learning is not encouraged. The progress of the student is regularly assessed by quiz, tests(oral and written) and assignments.

She does not believe in teaching for passing only but clarity of concepts. Having been her student in past, I can say that there Is no need of rote learning if you are Anamika's student.Exciting and engaging ! That is how I would describe Dr. Anamika’s classes. She is an excellent educator who is always committed towards her student’s learning and success. She can take a science concept that is difficult to grasp and explain it in such a manner that students actually become interested in learning and understanding the concept.
