About Violet
After I graduate college, I am hoping to be able to do songwriting as a career. I am currently in two different projects, rug and cicada. One is an indie folk project and the other is an indie electronic project. I would love to songwrite for other musicians or be able to make a living as a performer.

HI! My name is Violet Beller. I am a rising senior at Frost School of Music at the University of Miami. I went to LaGuardia High School where I studied Classical Voice and now I am more focused on contemporary music and songwriting. I am proficient in teaching voice, guitar, piano, and music theory. I have studied voice and piano since I was 10 and picked up guitar when I was 14. At school, I teach after-school music lessons at Arthur Polly Mays where I run their contemporary songwriting program. I love creating music and teaching others how to songwrite on instruments lyrically and musically. I also have studied theory since high school, including jazz and classical theory.
