About Selina
One of the beautiful things about acting is that you can pass on its gift to others. I know that when I was preparing to audition for drama schools, I wouldn’t have gotten as far as I did without the guidance of some wonderful teachers. I’m here because I want to take the myth and guesswork out of drama school preparation for you but also support you to be a fearless artist. Here is what one of my students have said about working with me so far - “ For someone who’d never auditioned for drama schools before, when I began preparing my audition monologues, I needed more than just a coach. I needed someone who could help me confront my fears, unlock my instincts, and find the courage to bring my full self to the work. Selina did exactly that. Her approach was dynamic and holistic: we explored movement, animal inspiration, emotional recall, and bold textual experimentation, all with the mantra, "Start with the body to open up the brain." She pushed me to embody my pieces physically first, stripping away self-consciousness to reveal raw, authentic storytelling. Beyond technique, Selina offered unwavering emotional support, grounding me during the highs and lows of the audition process. One of her most profound pieces of advice has stayed with me: "Don’t let fear walk in front of you. Tell fear to walk beside you, ‘cause you’ve got you." When the acceptance letter came for the MFA in Acting at the USC School of Dramatic Arts on a full-tuition scholarship in America, it felt like a natural culmination of our work together. It wasn’t just an achievement; it was proof of what happens when you’re given the right tools, the right coaching, and most importantly, permission to trust yourself. None of this would have been possible without Selina’s wisdom, generosity, and transformative guidance.“

My practice is movement and breath based. I believe that storytelling is just as physical as it is emotional and connection to others starts with connection to yourself. My lessons range from 1-2 hours (2 hours is usually best) and we would start with a check-in, warm-up, progress check on any homework or text you want to prepare, text analysis and physical experimentation. I supported my private student on his successful journey to a scholarship-funded place at USC and support my LAMDA students on their screen journey, instilling them with confidence while giving them detailed, constructive critique. My lessons can range for all ages - ideally 10 years and above but open to all
