About Julissa
Hi,
My name is Julissa. I'm from Colombia and my mother tongue is Spanish. I have a degree in Foreign Language education and more than 10 years of teaching experience in elementary. I have worked as an English and Spanish teacher in Colombia and USA. My last experience was as a Spanish teacher in a dual language immersion program where I worked in Kindergarten and First grade. Currently, I'm a stay home mom enjoying time with my little one, a Spanish tutor, and a TPT author of Spanish resources.
My classes are based on the needs of my students. I like to follow a Student-centered instruction model in which my students and I, as a teacher, play an active role in the learning process.
