About Larissa
Hello, my name is Larissa.
I am a full-time student with a passion for sharing my love for language with other. I spend my free time baking, painting, reading - devoted-bookworm - and learning more about the past (history addiction).
Afrikaans, a language with beautiful words- much more than meets the eye- and English the language of classic literature, and a international way of communicating with foreigners.
Students tend to underestimate the value of their language efficiency in everyday life, and the big role it plays. To become frustrated because you don't have adequate language skills is entirely unnecessary - it can be improved with patience and help!

-My belief for the effectiveness language skills are applied in everyday life, drives my passion for helping students.
-I am fluent in Afrikaans (Native speaker) -'n Bietjie Afrikaans 'n dag, hou die dokter weg- aswell as English. I’m also able, and willing, to teach Art History, Consumers Study and Mathematics Literacy
-I have a passion for helping my students improve their spelling and grammer. In addition, I offer exam/test preparation classes to reach my students' desired language goals.
-My lessons are targeted at struggling primary school and high school students, and also foreign students who wish to improve their language skills.
-My approach to teaching is making it enjoyable for my students by using visual study aids, e.g. informative slideshows.
