About Sofia
I love to use my experience and language skills to help others become confident in communicating in a second language.
My aim is always to support students in getting to the level they want in either language, by understanding how they learn best and adpting my teaching methods to match.
Not everyone learns best with exercise sheets, so I'm open to trying new types of exercises and immersion techniques to suit the individual.

My focus is on supporting GCSE and A Level studies, providing new ways to process and produce language that help to boost grades and confidence in Spanish and Italian.
I also offer lessons for adult beginners who would like to learn a new language, building a solid foundation of the basics so you can communicate well.
Lessons are usually 45 minutes with some flexibility, and mostly remote unless you're based in the Reading area.
Experience:
I graduated from University of Southampton with a First Class Honours in Language Learning (Spanish and Italian with Linguistics).
I have tutored at GCSE level and adult beginners in Spanish, and spent a year as a language teaching assistant in Spain.
