Laura has been teaching both of my boys in Italian and has been a brilliant teacher . Laura motivated my boys to enjoy learning Italian and when they were reconsidering whether ro continue their Italian studies through to year 12 level . If it was not for Laura , both boys would have discontinued their Italian studies, but instead they excelled In Italian and achieved high Marks for their Italian through to year 12 . Laura’s teaching skills are exceptional and she had a unique ability to motivate students to enjoy learning Italian and achieve a high standard . She makes herself available at short notice through the boys year 12 exam revision to make sure they had all had the help and support they needed . She never let them down and so encouraging. I have known Laura for many years and as soon as my trip to Italy was confirmed, knew she would be the best person to help me prepare. Laura is a phenomenal tutor. I only had a short time to prepare, but Laura helped me get ready for my trip to Italy with useful phrases that made my trip fun and a great success. She is a patient, insightful tutor, taking the time to first discover my needs for the trip and then to help me improve at my pace. She was so encouraging and gave me the confidence to learn. Laura is an amazingly good teacher! I’ve been learning Italian with her for a year now. She is fun, completely invested in helping her students learn, and is also extremely knowledgeable. She listens to and accommodates what you want to achieve with the lessons, eg I wanted to learn enough basic Italian to make my travels in Italy more enjoyable - success!! Laura makes it easier to remember words by explaining the derivations and pointing out similarities or associations with English words. She is just an awesome teacher and I highly recommend!

Halfway through year 11 VCE Italian, I felt lost and struggling to grasp the concept of learning a second language. After my Mum found Laura online, she signed me up for lessons. Once I saw Laura’s great knowledge of the Italian language and the country itself, along with her patience and kindness, I knew that she was a person of not just upmost professionalism but also a person with such a warm heart.
