About Carla
I am currently a law student at the University of Oxford. However, I have tutored secondary school students at GCSE level in various subjects, with a focus on English Literature. I have achieved 3 A's at A-Level in English Literature, History and Chemistry and 7A*'s and 3A's at GCSE.

My lessons are aimed at students studying for both A-Levels and GCSE. My teaching method is designed to engage with students. For English Literature, this would typically involve looking at a text and working through it in a fun way whilst focusing on key areas to improve exam technique.
I aim to give students a variety in teaching so that no class is exactly the same in order to develop a wide range of skills. Most importantly, I want deliver a lesson which the student enjoys and can feel a sense of progression from.
In teaching, I am happy to take feedback from students and co-ordinate lessons in a format which they feel suits them and also to focus on areas where they feel more attention is required.
