About Uzochukwu

I have over a decade of legal study and work experience in law. I have a Masters degree in Oil, Gas and Renewable Law, and I am currently preparing to undertake a PhD in Renewable Energy in addition to undertaking a membership course in CIArb (Chartered Institute of Arbitration). Also, I have acquired some teaching experience by providing private tutelage in the course of my undergraduate and postgraduate levels. I am a resourceful and highly qualified individual with varied experience acquired during my internship and pro bono work undertaken in tandem with my studies. I am very articulate with excellent interpersonal abilities, communicate effectively, and skilled in coherent and intelligible writing. I am a high-achiever, with advanced research and analytical skills combined with excellent problem-solving skills.

About the lesson

I adopt two approaches to teaching: 'student-centred', 'high-tech' approach. These approaches aim to aid a personalised, research-based, inquiry-based learning to accentuate understanding of the materials taught. My goal is to coach and facilitate learning, overall comprehension of materials and skills in answering questions and utilising proven tools. For instance, the use of online research databases (Westlaw, Lexis Library, Nexis, Practical Law, HeinOnline), employing IRAC (Issues, Relevant Law, Application and Conclusion) Structure in answering legal problem questions, proper referencing and so on. I evaluate your learning progress through both formal and informal forms of assessment, such as - study portfolio and projects, give a detailed feedback, and work further on identified problem areas.
