SUBJECTS IN WHICH I AM SPECIALIZED: Biochemistry, Cell Biology, Molecular Biology, Genetics (general, cytogenetics and molecular genetics including epigenetics), Cell Signaling, Immunology, Animal Physiology and Neurophysiology.
EXPERIENCE IN UNIVERSITY TEACHING: 5 years.
EXPERIENCE IN PRIVATE TEACHING (College, Undergraduate, Master's and Doctoral Students): More than 10 years.
RESEARCH EXPERIENCE: Expression and purification of recombinant proteins, Cancer, Stem cells, Hormonal regulation and Cell signaling (especially in Growth Factors). I worked as “young researcher” 2 years ago (MinCiencias).
MOLECULAR TECHNIQUES: Proteins, Nucleic Acids, Microbiology, Mammalian cell culture: Western blot, ELISA, protein purification, structural analysis, RT-qPCR, gene silencing (ShRNA), electrophoresis, DNA and RNA isolation and analysis, expression and purification of recombinant proteins, among others.

Es un profesor muy organizado y comprometido, no sólo me enseñó las bases de la Bioquímica, sino que inculcó en mí el interés por el tema, de manera que sigo usando herramientas que él me compartió y me atrevo a leer artículos que entiendo gracias a este curso. Estudiar con él fue de gran ayuda porque en mi carrera la bioquímica es fundamental y pasó de ser una debilidad a ser una de mis grandes fortalezas
Muy buen profesor. A parte de saber demasiado, sabe transmitir muy bien el conocimiento. Además es muy amable y tiene una gran actitud hacia quien necesite su ayuda.
