About Karen
I am a clinical psychologist, I have worked in an institute where patients with eating disorders, obesity and diabetes are treated. I have learned about work, as well as techniques and tools to help people who are looking to lose weight, maintain themselves or who have problems like anorexia or bulimia, or simply who do not have a healthy relationship with food. I have participated in psychonutrition workshops, as well as in the dissemination of the subject in campaigns within said institute.

I like to teach by explaining the theoretical part a little, this so that the student learns to see the problem and understand it from all the scenarios, what happens in the body, that they understand why it is so important to first learn to develop a plan to work the future levels of stress and anxiety that may arise when making a change in lifestyle, in this case related to food. Once this is understood, one works weekly with different simple tasks. Once the plan has been created, day by day they will put into practice what they have learned during the classes. Possible relapse scenarios and tools to manage it will be exposed.
