About Gaby
大家好！Hello everyone!
I'm Gaby, or as my Chinese friends call me, 筱珺. Since 2016**, I have embarked on an exciting journey of learning Mandarin Chinese, a language that has completely transformed my life.
I have had the honor of representing Yucatán and Mexico in national and international competitions, including the prestigious “Chinese Bridge” World Competition, where I competed with students from all over the world and put my linguistic and cultural skills to the test.
Thanks to academic scholarships, I have lived and studied in China, fully immersing myself in the language and culture. These experiences not only helped me perfect my linguistic abilities but also allowed me to deeply understand and appreciate Chinese culture in a unique and enriching way.
I currently work as a professional Chinese–Spanish interpreter and translator, while also teaching students of all ages and levels. My classes combine communicative practice, cultural understanding, and dynamic methods that make learning both enjoyable and effective.
I’m truly excited to share my knowledge with you and accompany you on your own journey to discover and master the Chinese language.

- Comprehensive Support: In addition to teaching the language, I help students plan their trips to China and, if they wish, guide them through the process of studying there, either through scholarships or with their own resources.
- Personalized Approach: I design a study plan tailored to your goals — whether it’s traveling, studying in China, passing the HSK exam, or improving your pronunciation. Each lesson is focused on your strengths and specific areas for improvement to help you progress with confidence.
- HSK Certification: All my classes are aligned with the official HSK (Chinese Proficiency Test). This means that while you learn the language in a practical and natural way, you’re also preparing to earn your official certification.
- Active Communication: From the very first class, I prioritize speaking and listening practice. I create an interactive learning environment where students have regular opportunities to communicate in Chinese, enhancing their fluency and comprehension.
- Writing and Reading Practice: Through writing exercises, reading tasks, and practical activities, I help students strengthen their Chinese reading and writing skills.
- Dynamic Resources: I integrate videos, audios, games, and interactive exercises to make classes engaging and effective. I also recommend books, music, series, apps, and websites to encourage students to keep practicing and deepening their understanding outside of class.
- Chinese Culture Focus: Learning a language also means understanding its culture. In my lessons, we explore Chinese traditions, social etiquette, festivals, and cultural curiosities to help you connect more deeply with the language.
- Warm-Up and Review: Each session begins with a quick review of previously learned concepts to reinforce knowledge and prepare for new material.
- Feedback and Evaluation: I provide personalized feedback on student performance and conduct regular assessments to adjust the study plan according to each student’s progress and goals.

Es una maestra demasiado dedicada y servicial. Es muy buena en el idioma y sabe enseñarlo muy bien.
Las clases son muy entretenidas y didácticas. Explica el por qué de las cosas y la lógica de ellas.
Sabe de la cultura y te ayuda a aprender sobre eso aparte del idioma.Gaby es una maestra muy responsable y con gran estructura de enseñanza. Mi hija tomó clases con ella a lo largo de un año y se entusiasmó tanto que fue a China a continuar estudiando.
Al llegar, se dio cuenta que llevaba bases sólidas en cuanto a pronunciación y conocimientos. Le dijeron que pronunciaba muy bien!
Además como persona, es una chica lindísima y atenta.
Recomendable absolutamente!He estudiado con Gaby 老师, por más de 6 meses en clases grupales y siempre demuestra mucha paciencia con los alumnos, especialmente con los de la 3ra edad. Siempre está dispuesta a resolver las dudas y nos sube varias actividades a Classroom para complementar el aprendizaje.
El método de enseñanza de la profesora Gaby se adapta muy bien a los alumnos, da las clases de manera objetiva y clara sin llegar a ser agobiante, de hecho la recomiendo mucho ya que es muy paciente y hace un ambiente amigable en cada clase.
He tenido el gusto de ser alumna de Gaby, su vasto conocimiento en el idioma hace que las clases se sientan claras, dinámicas y súper organizadas, Gaby es paciente y siempre está dispuesta a ayudarte a entender al 100% lo visto en clase, por lo que personalmente me ha motivado a aprender mucho más sobre el idioma.
