About Kavya
I am a software developer with a strong passion for teaching and working with children. I started my career as a coding instructor, where I taught programming to kids using fun and interactive methods, and I truly enjoyed helping them learn and grow.
Later, I moved into full-time software development, working with startups on building and improving applications. While I gained valuable industry experience, my interest in teaching has always stayed with me, which is why I am excited to get back into it.
I believe learning should be engaging and stress-free, especially for kids. I focus on creating a supportive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and exploring their creativity.
My goal is not just to teach coding, but to help children develop confidence, logical thinking, and problem-solving skills that will benefit them in the long run

Ever wondered what it takes to actually build a working app or game, not just play one? In this 8-session course, your child does exactly that — starting from a blank Scratch screen and finishing with a real, playable game they've built themselves, ready to show off to family and friends.
We start simple: making a character move and come to life on screen. From there, each session adds one new piece — animation, a game world, scoring, win-and-lose rules, levels, sound — so kids never feel overwhelmed, they just watch their project grow week by week. By the final session, they've got a complete app with their own artwork, music, and rules, and they get to present it properly, bugs and all (because working through bugs together is half the fun, and honestly where most of the real learning happens).
This isn't about copying steps off a screen. I want kids figuring things out — why didn't that block work, what happens if I try this instead — because that's the thinking that actually sticks, long after the course ends.
Perfect for beginners or kids who've dabbled in Scratch and want a proper project to sink their teeth into. No experience needed, just curiosity.
