About Heidi

I have been teaching English for the last 10 years. Until 2015 I worked for various language schools and as a private tutor in Hamburg. I currently live in the country and teach Business English at a community college and as an in-house teacher for various companies. And I also still teach private one to one classes and small groups. Towards that I have also been working with students worldwide via Skype for the last 3 years.

By the way - I speak 'British' English and German is my 2nd language. As a long-term spanish student I don't just know what it is like to learn a new language, I also know how to learn effectively via Skype!

About the lesson

I offer tailor made lessons adapted to each individual student's needs. No matter if you're a beginner or advanced student, young or old, looking to improve your conversational skills or business English. My lessons are motivational, structured and always taught with a smile!

My aim is to improve my German and Heidi is helping me along the way. Her lessons are fun, always different and very motivating. The fact that she's a native speaker of English and German makes learning the differences between the two languages much easier. I'd recommend her to anybody who's interested in learning or improving their German.

Heidi is a reliable, well-educated, native speaker, providing rich knowledge on learning German.
I started out with some rusty school time knowledge of the German language – having a personal goal to move to Germany – I hunted for a suitable proficient language teacher. Heidi has excelled in building my confidence in a kind & controlled manner. Always emphasises the reality of learning a new language & the challenges ahead & provides a clear learning path to match your needs. Focuses importance on all the required skill sets – reading, writing, listening & speaking to ensure you are provided a well-rounded education. I highly recommend her – A superb teacher! Thanks Heidi!!!!
