About PYTHAGORAS
I am an experienced educator with a strong background in teaching and academic leadership across primary, secondary, and adult education. I currently teach Greek as a second language in London at the Hellenic Centre, at Manor Hill Greek Independent School, and through private lessons, delivering courses to both children and adults, including GCSE preparation. Over the past several years, I have also worked as a class teacher supporting students with special educational needs, as well as a teacher assistant, A-Level teacher, tutor, exam supervisor, and academic manager, where I was responsible for leading teams and coordinating programmes. My experience spans classroom teaching in the UK and abroad, private tutoring for secondary and high school students, and exam preparation and marking, reflecting a consistent commitment to high-quality education and student achievement.

I place strong emphasis on communication, helping students feel confident using Greek in real-life situations through interactive activities and role plays. At the same time, we work systematically on grammar, vocabulary development, pronunciation, and comprehension, ensuring steady and measurable progress. My aim is not only to teach the language, but to create a dynamic, supportive environment where students actively engage, think in Greek, and truly enjoy the learning process.
I specialize in teaching Greek as a foreign language to adults of different backgrounds and goals.
