Madhav sir is a music teacher and a practising musician par excellence. Having sound musical academics in Western music at his back, he has also gone through the rigorous discipline of Guru-Shishya Parampara while learning the Hindustani Classical music. Simplicity is his hallmark. The sheer simplicity and ease with which he approaches his disciples in the online classes is the thing which is lacking in most of the online Music Gurukuls. AB Madhav is absolutely amazing teacher. He focusses on building a strong foundation of classical music in each of his students. He has composed so many exercises and drills that are so interesting, intense, extremely beneficial and at the same time fun to do.His separate approaches for the vocal training and Raag based music training is really unique and effective. He himself is an amazing performer and his knowledge of classical music is deep.

Madhav sir’s Gurukul is an amazing, immersive learning experience. I feel lucky enough to have experienced this for a few months. His teaching style is very intuitive. He starts with basic concepts and gradually builds on them based on how much students are grasping. He also performs thorough analysis of the progress of students’ learnings and provides frequent feedback. Assignments are also given and students are assessed on weekly basis. AB Madhav sir is an excellent teacher, facilitator, and mentor in my music journey. I joined the Classical Music classes by Madhav sir about a year back and I can't be happier with my decision. The frequency of classes has helped me stay consistent in our Music practice which is crucial to becoming a good singer. The culture of the classroom greatly facilitates your learning - e.g. 1) you have an option to join the class on listening mode if you are unable to sing on a given day, 2) you get to present your learnings over the weekend, giving you an opportunity to apply your learnings and seek feedback, 3) you get to join the class in the morning and/or evening which allows you to continue with your music sessions irrespective of the time constraints, 4) despite being a music class, sir discusses all the factors that affect your music journey(discipline, health, food, exercise, meditation), etc. Moreover, sir is very empathetic and deeply invested in his students' learning. He keeps facilitating the learning through different techniques in class (the practice of paltas, weekend/occasional get-togethers, maintaining journals, and sharing achievements). Last but not the least, the entire culture set in the class has helped all the people in the community from the age of (20 to 70) to support each other and grow together.

Anyone looking for a continuing music journey will benefit from AB sirs music coaching. The daily multiple classes set a pace for one to truely and deeply understand Hindustani classical music and the finer nuances of raagas.
