About JEOTHILASHMI
From my school days, I have always enjoyed explaining concepts to others — even before I realized it was one of my strengths. Whether it was preparing for a seminar or helping a classmate understand a tricky topic, I found joy in breaking down complex ideas into simple, easy-to-grasp explanations. The positive feedback I received from my teachers and classmates encouraged me to continue this journey. In college, this ability only grew stronger as I presented seminars, coordinated projects, and guided my peers through challenging biotechnology concepts. Currently, I am pursuing my undergraduate degree in Biotechnology and have participated in international-level competitions such as iGEM and Fujio Cup, where I gained valuable hands-on experience in research and lab work. These experiences have deepened both my subject knowledge and my confidence in teaching. I aim to build trust with every student by ensuring that each session is well-prepared, interactive, and truly helpful. My ultimate goal is to become a researcher in the field of Molecular Medicine, and teaching allows me to share my passion for science while helping others grow in their academic journey.

As a biotechnology undergraduate, I believe learning becomes more effective when concepts are explained in a simple, relatable, and engaging way. My teaching style is storytelling-based, where I connect scientific ideas to real-life examples — making even complex topics like microbiology or genetic engineering easier to understand and remember.
Being a student myself, I understand how difficult it can be to grasp certain topics at the last moment before exams. That’s why I teach in the same way a friend would explain a tough concept during those final revision hours — clear, concise, and confidence-boosting.
Each class usually begins with a quick recap of what was learned earlier, followed by detailed explanations of new concepts using visuals, analogies, and examples from everyday life or lab work.
Students are requested to share the topics at least two days in advance, so I can prepare the best explanations, diagrams, and examples tailored to their needs.
My classes are ideal for school students and college-level learners who wish to strengthen their understanding of subjects like Microbiology, Genetic Engineering, and Biotechnology — whether in Tamil or English.
