About Keanu
I have played guitar and piano in several bands and studied extensively under multiple instructors to develop a deep understanding of music and how to teach it. I have learned to incorporate different approaches and techniques for music. I do not like the idea of marrying oneself to a set school of thought. I embrace not just the technical aspects like music theory but the more freeing elements of playing by ear and developing one’s own technique within building good habits.

My work ethic in teaching is centered around flexibility, I take teaching 1 on 1 very seriously as it presents many opportunities that the classroom setting does not. Flexibility is one of them, and it affords both the teacher and the student the ability to explore any goal in great detail.
