About Felipe
I am a touring musician who plays and teaches in California with more than 15 years of experience in recording studios, live settings, and also as a teacher!
Even though playing live is amazing, my passion is teaching. I love seeing the progress in my students, and I also love seeing them discover the instrument just as I did when I was young. It makes me feel very fulfilled.

Perfect! He's extremely talented at what he does and is very patient with his students. He notices mistakes very quickly and helps you correct them immediately to assure your best guitar playing. I've had a lot of fun learning with Phil and I'm excited to learn more!
Perfect! Phil is one of the best bass/guitar teachers around! I was really nervous to start lessons, but he is extremely patient and motivating as a teacher! He curates lesson plans for each visit that focus on specific learning points based on your experience level. He is super accommodating with my scheduling, pricing and even travels to my location. I HIGHLY recommend him for guitar and bass lessons!
Perfect! Phil is so great to work with. He meets you where you’re at and makes lessons fun by helping you learn songs you love. He also has given me great drills to do at home to improve my hand strength and strumming patterns. Would highly recommend lessons with Phil! He is wonderful!
Perfect! I really like working with Phil! he teaches at a great pace and does a great job of explaining how i can sound better while playing. After 2 lessons so far with Phil i can see myself already improving. He also is letting me learn a song that I am interested in which makes me feel a lot more motivated. I would recommend phil to anyone but especially those that are just starting to learn!

Phil has been great giving our son guitar lessons for several months now. He's patient and customizes each lesson for our son, focusing on the style of music/songs he likes to play.
Phil communicates well, is friendly and really cares about passing on his knowledge.Felipe is a terrific teacher!!! He is kind, friendly, and patient with his students. He has vast musical experience and is very good at assessing a student’s abilities and interests. He adjusts lessons accordingly and makes them fun and challenging. Thanks for the great lessons!!! The way he was able to teach me. He was qa really good giving me instructions according to my skill level. He was a patience but at the same time he was encouraging me to get better.
