About Julian

- Im a professional guitar player, currently playing in the Bogotá blues and jazz scene in diferrent bands and projects.

- I've been playing and teaching jazz and blues guitar for a few years now.

In blues i found something that was missing in other most "sofisticated" styles that i studied before. The limitation of elemnets: usually 12 measures form, three same chords, two basic scales, allows me to go deep and explore in the dynamics, rhytm, groove, phrasing...etc. so i hope you'll also find your own way to discover the posibillities of guitar thorugh this style of music

About the lesson

Let's go deep into guitar! I'll teach you about improvisation, open tunnings, scales, comping, slide playing and more...

I like to think that instade of learn to play blues on the guitar, you can understand the guitar through learn to play blues and find much easier way to aproach other more modern genres of music. Going deep in the masters records, players and thecniques, you'll find a joy on learn about the masters of past while you'll be able to express yourself and find a unique voice.
