About Gemma
I am a dedicated piano teacher with over 9 years of experience and an Advanced Diploma in Piano Performance. Music has always been my language of emotion, and I love helping students connect deeply with what they play. My goal is to make every lesson meaningful, inspiring both technical growth and emotional expression. I believe that understanding the heart behind the music is just as important as mastering the notes. I guide students in building strong foundations in music theory, sight-reading, and finger technique. Each lesson is tailored to individual goals, whether it’s classical mastery, modern styles, or personal creativity. I emphasise correct posture, tone control, and rhythmic precision to build lasting skill and confidence. Through encouragement and structured practice, students learn to overcome challenges and grow independently as musicians. I create a warm, supportive environment where learners feel inspired to explore and express. My approach combines discipline with creativity, ensuring lessons are both productive and enjoyable. I help students perform with confidence, emotion, and understanding. Watching them discover their musical voice is the most rewarding part of my teaching. I aim to nurture not only skilled pianists but passionate artists who truly feel the music they play.

I am a passionate piano tutor with years of experience helping students discover the joy of music through creativity and discipline. My teaching blends classical, pop, jazz, and contemporary styles, giving learners a complete and enjoyable foundation. Each lesson is personalised to match the student’s goals, pace, and musical taste. I believe that every learner can express themselves beautifully through the piano with the right guidance and practice. Technology plays an important role in my sessions. I use ear training apps, metronomes, and digital audio workstations (DAWs) to strengthen timing, pitch, and overall musical awareness. Students also learn how to use these tools to compose, record, and refine their sound. I encourage exploration and improvisation while keeping strong focus on technical accuracy and expression. I work with learners who aim to grow both as performers and as creative musicians in digital or traditional music spaces. Whether the goal is to play in a group, produce music, or perform for an audience, I provide full support in developing skill and confidence. My lessons build not only technique but also a lifelong appreciation for music. I aim to inspire every student to find their unique sound and excel in their musical journey.
