About Jessica
I'm Jessica. I lived for a few years in the city of Porto, Portugal, and also in León, Spain. I currently live in Vitória, Espírito Santo, Brazil.
I’m a psychologist, 38 years old, and for over six years I’ve been dedicated to teaching Psychology and Portuguese as a foreign language. Throughout my journey, I’ve worked with more than 90 students from different nationalities, which has allowed me to develop a special sensitivity for adapting content to each student’s needs and context.

My teaching methodology is entirely based on Brazilian music, and through it, I'm able to teach you about Brazilian culture, artists, places, colloquial language, slang, and the main expressions people use.
Grammar is reinforced, but in a fun and enjoyable way to learn.
My teaching approach is based on a combination of learning psychology and active methodologies, fostering a safe, participatory, and meaningful learning environment. I deeply believe in the importance of human connection in the educational process, as well as in the student’s autonomy as a fundamental part of learning.
In my classes, I offer a safe space to make mistakes, express yourself, and discover Portuguese in an authentic and personalized way.
With my background as a psychologist and teacher, I guide you with empathy and effective techniques that adapt to your pace, interests, and goals. Together, we’ll build your confidence and fluency from the very first class.
