About Jenni
Hi! I’m Jenny, a native Brazilian living in New York. I hold a Bachelor’s in English and Portuguese Literature, with training in Teaching Languages and Teaching English as a Second Language. I also have experience in active methodologies, gamification, and correction techniques, ensuring that my lessons are effective and engaging. I’ve been teaching languages for over five years and currently work in Manhattan with students from all over the world. My classes are fun, practical, and highly conversational, incorporating music, videos, games, and Brazilian culture. With my experience and training, you can feel confident that every lesson is personalized, professional, and designed to help you speak Portuguese naturally and confidently.

In our Portuguese classes, you will get a full immersion in Brazilian culture — from samba , to football , to capoeira , to carnival , from Rio to Salvador, through the whole rich culture that is Brazil — giving you a taste of its diversity while learning Portuguese naturally.
You will enjoy fun, student-centered lessons focused on conversation ️, with games, videos , and discussions that make learning practical, engaging, and enjoyable. Each student follows a personalized study plan, with one activity unit per week and a collection of videos to practice outside class.
With guidance from a native Brazilian teacher holding a Bachelor’s in English and Portuguese Literature, and training in Teaching Second Languages, active methodologies, gamification, and effective correction techniques, plus more than five years of teaching experience, your lessons are personalized, effective, and designed for you to speak Portuguese confidently while having fun .
