I think education should be fun and practical and there's not always a single correct way to teach something. I like my lessons to always end with a fun physical project that students can use. For instance, turning a painting into a TV remote with capacitive touch sensing. Or making a musical instrument. Learning should be fun and you should be proud of your work!
