About Jessica

Currently on maternity leave until April however my work has extended into offering a group singing social called The London SINGING SOCIAL and we meet on Tuesday evenings. Find more information on my website: (concealed information)
Plus I also have a teaching agency in London, home visit singing lessons with trusted teachers in London!

I am a dedicated and well-rounded vocal coach, performer, and creative, passionate about nurturing each student’s unique voice and confidence. With over 10 years of teaching experience, I work with singers of all levels, from beginners to professionals, across a variety of styles including Musical Theatre, Pop, Classical, and Jazz.

I currently tutor at Italia Conti and Mountview, and cover at Arts Ed, training the next generation of performers. My own training includes a Masters in Musical Theatre from Mountview (Distinction) and a Bachelor of Music Honours Degree in Vocal & Operatic Studies from the Royal Birmingham Conservatoire. I am also an Estill Figure Proficiency (EFP) Certified Coach and am currently training to become an Estill Master Trainer (EMT). Additionally, I am a Vocal Health First Aider and have a strong foundation in vocal pedagogy, technique, and performance practice.

In addition to my 121 coaching, I run a weekly Singing Social for adult singers in London with the soul purpose to sing to feel good, alongside vocal empowerment and technical development. I also have a team of trusted coaches who work alongside me.

My recent performance credits include: The Light Princess (ARC Stockton & UK Tour), Spot’s Birthday Party (UK Tour & Singapore Fest 2024), Three Little Pigs (UK Tour), Yoghurt Is Not Sexy (Camden People’s Theatre & Arcola Theatre), Brexit: What A Song and Dance (ZEST & NODA), and Exploring Sondheim From A Singer’s Perspective (Vox Integra).

Further vocal and performance training includes the National Youth Theatre Epic Stages Course, Vox Integra Courses across the UK and Europe, and training in Dalcroze and Kodály methods, Laban movement, and Stanislavski techniques. I also hold Grade 8 ABRSM in both Singing and Piano and confidently accompany my students in lessons.

Beyond one-to-one coaching, I have taught in schools such as Tudor Hall School for Girls, and worked internationally, including at Long Lake Camp for the Performing Arts (New York). I have also been a Drama Coach at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama Summer School for Classical Singers (2019, 2021 & 2022) and have musically directed choirs and musicals.

I specialise in confidence-building, vocal technique, and performance skills, tailoring lessons to the individual in a supportive and encouraging environment. I have entered over 500 students for exams (ABRSM, LCM, and TRINITY), with results consistently averaging a distinction.

Whether you're a beginner looking to find your voice or a professional refining your technique, I provide expert, personalised coaching to help you achieve your vocal and performance goals.

Find out more about Jessica

  • When did you first develop a passion for music and your favourite instrument?

I enjoyed singing from a young age and remember putting on concerts for my family every Sunday, singing anything from Steps to Robbie Williams. I started singing and piano lessons at the age of 8 and never stopped after that!
  • Is there a particular type music or artist that you listen to on a loop without it driving you crazy?

There are a few people/bands I could listen to on a loop! Bon Iver, Lianne La Havas, Mumford and Sons, Fat Freddys Drop, Gregory Porter and Ludovico Einaudi
  • Explain to us the most difficult or riveting course you could personally give to a student of music.

Once a student is confident in their ability, definitely exploring different vocal styles and music genres. Whether that be twanging out some musical theatre or rocking out to some indie. Each require a different set up.

Students may also like to challenge themselves and prepare for a music or acting exam!
  • What do you think is the most complicated instrument to master and why?

Probably the organ! So much going on.
  • What are your keys to success?

Trusting the process. Allowing yourself to be vulnerable. Doing something that scares you. Perseverance!
  • Name three musicians you dream of meeting in your favourite bar in the early hours of the morning. Explain why.

Gregory Porter in the hope that we can duet.
Billie Eilish because I'd be really interested in talking about her experience.
Maria Callas so I can ask her to serenade me.
  • Provide a valuable anecdote related to music or your days at music school.

Strangely, I lost confidence in my singing a little when I went to music conservatoire and it took for me to get back to my childhood roots of singing music by Blue the band that reminded me why I loved singing in the first place. For the enjoyment and feel good factor! With singing you can be very self critical but sometimes it's worth stripping back to the simplicity of it to be able to excel again.
  • What are the little touches that make you a Superprof in music?

As well as being advanced in my craft, I believe I am a very empathetic teacher and listen to each students reasons for having lessons and responding to every individuals way of learning. It is so important to be flexible in what you do and I think that's what I bring to a lesson. Versatility.
